Portland was the ‘buzz’ today. Skaters of every age group and those bootin’ it like me were spread out over the lake and the grounds. Some skated aimlessly, some did some serious speed-skating around the oval, some curled, while others slurped ‘snert.’ Everyone was smiling and having a blast on this gray, overcast day.
Here are a few pics to enjoy and share. Right now everyone is finishing up a dinner prepared by the incomparable Opinicon Resort, Elgin.
Tomorrow the 50K race continues around the oval; so, you can still join in on the fun!
