I interviewed Guy Laflamme, Executive Director, Ottawa 2107 and Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa, October 2016, months before Laflamme’s “crazy-wild” ideas came to life. He shared his dreams, his expected journey–and it all came through.

The following video received today encapsulates this incredible year in our beloved capital.  Laflamme, his staff of 17 and endless volunteers deserve recognition beyond those already received.

You did it Guy. You took the “beige” out of Ottawa for good.
