We continue our countdown to the month of love with testaments of love in our midst. Love is not the exclusive turf of romance.
I witnessed two sisters who run a long-established business in Pembroke show their affection and respect for each other. I speak of Noella Stevens and Eileen Malette, Co-Owners of Custom Drapery and Decor, Pembroke. These two lovely souls are successful for a few reasons including sister love that binds.
Noella told me when I asked about working together all day, six days a week, “We enjoy each other so much, we even spends many evenings together.” Family love is powerful in a world of broken ones. For many, “blood is indeed thicker than water”.
The wedge celebrates this endearing sister act.
