One of the most dangerous sports on earth can now be experienced from the bleachers at Perth Fairgrounds this June 23rd, 2:00 p.m. The Bulls And Broncs Show features professional bull riding, junior bull riding, bareback bronc riding and ladies barrel back racing. And plenty of rip-roaring fun!
This is the same day Perth’s famous Kilt Run races through Gore Street, Downtown, 6:00 p.m. There’s lots of time to experience both events and enjoy dinner in town at Perth’s wide choices of restaurants. So bring your Stetson and your kilts!
The wedge.LIVE have agreed to be Media Sponsor and Judge at its childrens’ colouring contest in Perth. Winners can win free tickets for the whole family (and more prizes.) Contest held at Brownlee’s Metro in Perth (where tickets are also sold.)

The rodeo colouring contest judging by the wedge, Editor Maggie M, will be on Wed., June 20th at Brownlee’s Metro–in the afternoon.
There are 3 categories:
- Age 0-4
- Age 5-7
- Age 8-10
Each category will win 5 tickets (family pass) to the rodeo. Another “sur-prize” may be added for exceptional works.
“Golly! I don’t look like a cowgirl, but I can fudge a Western drawl for the kids,” says Maggie M.
CAMP MAPLE LEAF
This event is such a good cause on top of good fun! Support from ticket sales go to Camp Maple Leaf, a sprawling summer camp in the Kawarthas established in 1955 by the Canadian Council of War Veterans. It has been frequented by 30,000 children from underprivileged and military families.
