The world is drawn to our region of Canada, East Ontario. We are the region around and including the nation’s capital, Ottawa. Our area is shaped like an inverted 3-pointed triangle–this is why our e-magazine is called, “The Wedge.”

Three great rivers run through it: St. Lawrence River, Rideau River and Ottawa River. These are high attractions to tourists. The land is lush and dotted with idyllic villages, towns and cities–many are 200 years old. Boating, swimming and adventures are endless. Dining, entertainment and shopping are outstanding. The views are spectacular.

We see you visiting our site, so we want to make reading about this popular region easy for you–and tempt you to visit. On the right are some of our more regular virtual visitors (partial screen shot of our international visitors in descending order.)

The wedge (East Ontario) is a very friendly, welcoming region. They number 98% of our site’s visitors.

Our site now translates in Zulu and Swahili; so, Russian, Urdu, German and Italian for example are to be expected.

We feature 103 languages in our new tool on the upper right–just choose your language and every word on our site will translate. Enjoy!

NOTE: The translator sees our capitalized headings as proper names thus leaving them unchanged. We effort to capitalize all headings retroactively–it will take a few weeks.

Do not hesitate to contact us in your language for tourism information.
