It was July 28, 2016, when I posted our first story featuring an adorable couple in Merrickville, Pam and Bill Kenny. They run an antique-slash-vintage shop which I absolutely love to frequent for its childhood memories.
That was a full three years ago. Now we start our fourth year.
In 2019-2020 the wedge is branching out, literally and metaphorically. We will “break some eggs.”
Our editorial will dig deeper, scour markets for new angles, feature rugged individualists and get a little edgier. It’s what our East Ontario readers want. We call them, “Wedgees.”
Our happy stories continue.
We aim to build a top-notch team for both the Wedge and our WedgeWorks–a content development agency for medium, small, local and tiny clients.
This year the wedge is also breaking out with Wedgee tees–with words that will surprise. Mugs are in our future too. Maybe socks and boxers. We are open to suggestions.
This means the wedge store will come to life.
May the fourth be with us!
p.s. We are officially three years old on the 28th but who’s counting.
