Perhaps only Newfoundland rivals the natural beauty of the Yukon. And of course our majestic rockies flanked by B.C. and Alberta. It’s a tough call.

The Yukon Territory is our 6th Canadian land to join our coverage. It is the least populated at an estimated 41,200 and the smallest of our three territories.

Its capital is Whitehorse–it features an international airport.

I look forward to a flight to Whitehorse, camera in tow. Dog sled races, being hosted by its indigenous peoples and hearing stories of the Klondike Gold Rush are on the list–which will lengthen with each story.

It is serendipitous that we launch this paradise on Valentine’s Day 2020. The love that oozes from all travelers to the Yukon is impressive.

What an extraordinary land Yukon is!
